There are several things that we advise to be prepared in advance for the 2022 Packs launch:
Technical
- Clear your browser’s cache and be sure you have a stable internet connection
- It is suggested that users do not use a VPN
- Refresh once the drop is live in order to purchase. Please be sure not to refresh frequently as that can cause users to get rate limited and temporarily locked out
Billing/Payments
- You will be required to enter your CCV code if purchasing with your credit card
- Call your bank and/or credit card company ahead of time.
- Ensure there are sufficient funds available, and that transactions will not be blocked
Candy Account
- Register for a Candy account prior to Pack launch
- Double check to make certain that your information on your Candy is accurate:
- Use legal name
- Address on file matches billing address
- Account info is correct
- Ensure that your ID on your Candy account has been verified
In the Queue
- If you are logged in prior to packs going live, refresh once the countdown clock ends - i.e. when we are live - and click “Get It Now” on the pack listing
- Once logged in to their Candy account, users will be placed in the Queue to purchase packs after they click “Get it Now” on the pack listing
- The Queue will have a timer counting down for when it is your turn to purchase
- You will have a 3-minute window to purchase packs once it is your turn.
- We recommend using a self-timer (i.e. timer app on your phone)
- There will not be a countdown clock once you are out of the queue
- If you do not complete a successful checkout within 3 minutes, you will get booted from purchase when you attempt to take your next action
- You can purchase up to 10 packs per transaction. Quantity is changed at checkout, after clicking “Get it Now” on pack listing
- There will be a "cooldown" period of 3 minutes after purchasing, where you will not be able to enter the queue to purchase again. (see more on "Cooldown" below)
- Do not rapidly refresh, the self-timer will be your friend. Rapidly refreshing may cause you to be rate limited and temporarily locked out from purchasing
- You will need to refresh the page, or head to the main pack listing page, and click “Get it Now” to enter the queue again
Using Multiple Devices
- Users should not attempt to use multiple windows and/or browsers. This may result in being kicked out of the queue or your transaction failing. As a best practice users should only use one device
Cooldown
- There is a 3 minute cooldown period after purchasing packs where a user must wait before getting back into the queue
- If you attempt to purchase a pack during the cool down period, you will get a pop up message that says that you must wait and try again in a few minutes
- You will not automatically be placed in the queue after purchasing. There are 2 ways to re-enter the queue after purchasing:
- Users need to refresh the page they are on with the "Congrats on your purchase" message in order to be entered back into the queue
- Go to the 2022 pack listing page and click "Get It Now"
